Tips for Editing the Wiki
Editing the PeaceTech Wiki requires particular formatting. Here is a list of some of the ways to specially format.
Internal links are when a word links to a page inside the PeaceTech Wiki. No HTML is required. Simply enter the page name surrounded by "" and "" brackets.
For example, to link to the page "PeaceTech", write "PeaceTech" to create: PeaceTech.
To link to a category such as "Tool", add the phrase ":Category:" to create Category:Tool.
To customize the words seen in a link, place a "|" after the name of the page linked to. For example,
Check out these tools!
creates the link: Check out these tools!
To link to pages outside of the PeaceTech Wiki, use the following format:
Text to display
For example, to link to the PeaceTech Lab Website, write PeaceTech Lab to create PeaceTech Lab.
Embedding Internal Images
The benefit of embedding images from within the PeaceTech Wiki is that it allows for more formatting. To embed images uploaded onto the wiki, follow the following steps:
1. Click on "Upload File" from the menu on wiki menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
2. Choose the file and select the file name. Provide a summary to explain what the image is for people who browse to the image without any context.
3. Embed the image and choose formatting.
To include a file in a page, use a link in one of the following forms:
to use the full version of the file
to use a 200 pixel wide rendition in a box in the left margin with "alt text" as description
for directly linking to the file without displaying the file

For example, inserting the url: https://d30y9cdsu7xlg0.cloudfront.net/png/122433-200.png creates the image:
